Private commission in collaboration with the Star Star Roadhouse.

Starting from a blank slate, we worked extensively with the client in the process of developing a unique concept for a pair of spectacular art cars. The resulting project was refined through ongoing conversation and collaboration.

The final concept, in the form of a pair of mutated mechanical underwater creatures, is inspired by the aesthetic of Fritz Lang’s Metropolis (1927) and features stylized lines that echo the paired wing forms often found in Art Deco architecture.
